The papers used are made by KaiserCraft from the Elegance line. They are part of the Premier kit made by the Swirlydoos kit club. I punched & re punched the edges to make it appear to be tattered lace. All distressing was done with 2 inks- Distress walnut stain & Distress aged mahogany.
The Maya Road flourishes were inked with Tim Holtz Rum Raisin alcohol ink. The bird was printed on cards stock, hand cut & distressed. I placed it on the a flourish to give it sort of a bird on branch appearance. The bird from Lunagirl Images. A wonderful site!!!
The silk Prima flowers were lightly distressed. I then added flower layers that I made with my Big Shot using papers in the layout. All bloom edges were inked lightly. I then added them to the flourishes in the pattern paper to give them a cluster feel! Fired Brick Stickles were used to highlight & Ranger gold Liquid Pearls were used as flower centers.
BasicGrey letters were inked with the Ranger rum raisin alcohol ink. I also added droplets of the gold Liquid Pearls in the layout to highlight. I have been wanting to scrap this photo for some time & this kit worked beautifully! Thanks so much for taking a look!

Hi Lynn! When I'm finally able to do some scrapbooking again, would you mind terribly if I scraplift this layout? I found 4 boxes of very old pictures in my grandmother's apartment and I'm going to makes copies of a lot of them and make an album for her (or for my family members depending on how fast I can get it done.) Can you believe she still has her graduation announcement from 1939?? I'm simply amazed. Anyway, I love this layout and it makes me want to just take a day for myself and do some layouts with some of her pics so she can see what I've started with her treasures. :) Thanks!!!
