LOVABLE YOU!

The inspiration for this layout is my sweet niece! The photo is not posed! She was doubled over laughing at a family get together & I was able to snap a pic! She is the sweetest thing & I love being around her! The title is ChipChatter alpha &was in the 1.99 Archiver's hot spot section! It was originally beige, but after a few layers of ink & Glimmer Mist I got it the color I was looking for. The printed paper is CosmoCricket Fleuriste Collection. What a great paper pack! It is full of rich colors! Bazzill cardstock was final touch to make the rusts & golds pop!!
I have placed a link to CosmoCricket at bottom of this post!
I used Adirondack butterscotch ink to bring out the richness in the paper.

Some HeidiSwapp bling accents the edges.

I placed the title with the flow of the large flourish to give the layout some movement.

Layered flowers of stamped cardstock, and a couple silks thrown in are placed in the empty section of layout. Small flourishes are added as a filler!

A K &CO butterfly is placed on cardstock. I then cut edges & ink the edges the same as my mats used in photo & on the actual page.
I sprayed the butterfly with Daffodil Glimmer Mist & then added a bit of Adirondack Butterscoth ink!
Other items used:
Adirondack Sunset Orange ink
Fancy Pants Large Flourish Chipoard
Quickkutz flourish die

STICKLES OUT OF CONTROL?

If you can no longer remember if you have cotton candy pink, black diamond, or eucalyptus stickles then click this link for a list with color swatches of all stickles! I print it out & circle the colors I have. I keep it handy to see what I need when the "shop for stickle" craving happens!

RUNNING THROUGH GRASS

My niece taking in the joys of summer was the inspiration behind this layout. I used colors in the photo as my main layout colors. The card stock is from the DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies collection. I added Fancy Pants biggest board chipboard flourishes, that were inked with Adirondack "lettuce" ink.
The lettering was placed in a way to show movement! I also added some pale pink jewels to the background to give a kinda "dew" effect.

Lime Stickles on the flourish highlights the swirl.
I added little pink brads in the corners of pic to bring the pink into the photo.

Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels sprayed on the K&CO sticker butterfly softens the boldness of the original sticker color.
Thanks for taking a look!

TIRED OF ALBUMS?
I hang my layouts on cafe rods hung at scattered levels. This is a great way to share your current work & older forgotten ones! It is great for seasonal & so easy to change out! I have found that it is best to use 3 clips per layout. This prevents any sagging in the middle caused by xtra weight from all those embellies!

TO HAVE JOY, ONE MUST SHARE IT

The inspiration for this layout was a wonderful picture of my
son & daughter in law taken after their first year of marriage! I was also very inspired by the BasicGrey paper from the Mellow collection. I knew I wanted
to use this picture with the clouds. I decided to "cut " the cloud to kinda hold the pic! The rest of the papers were also from the Mellow collection! The Quote "to have joy one must share it" was a quote by Lord Byron that I found in a book of vellum quotes I picked up at Joann's in the clearance section! I thought it was sooo true! Thanks for taking a look!

I did cutwork with the BasicGrey paper to give the layout some depth. I also applied Ranger Adirondack ink on the raw chipboard flourishes. I used the color expresso!

I just love the Inkadinkadoo line of stamps. The bird is a clearstamp & was stamped on the same color cardstock used in the mat. I then added a bit of glacier Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels!

DAY AT THE PARK

A beautiful summers day at the park was the inspiration for this layout. I really enjoy doing 2 page layouts! I like the idea of using more photos & having a larger area to work with!
The paper is the beautiful Vita Bella collection by Little Yellow Bicycle. It has such rich organic colors, & a natural feel to it.

The Flowers were made with my Sizzix Big Shot machine, and layered with flourishes. I have found that most all brand dies work well with the Big Shot, including Cuttlebug & Spellbinders.

I also used DCWV Jeweled Card stock, & Nick Bantock Prussian Blue ink for rich colors along the edges.

Thanks for taking a look :)

TWO HEARTS BECOME ONE

This layout is my Mom & Dad on their wedding day in 1945. I did some photo editing on Photoshop to give the photo a rose tint vs a sepia tone. This worked well with th BasicGrey Eva paper.
Brushed silver heart buttons added a heritage feel to the layout.

I distressed white alpha with several shades to
achieve the tone & shadows I was looking for!

Layered flowers, flourishes , distress ink & Bazzill cardstock compliments this beautiful paper!

BEAUTIFUL SMILE

I was so happy when this layout was approved for the BasicGrey online gallery for Oct 2008.
The inspiration is my sweet daughter in law's smile! I wanted to use my BasicGrey Eva paper & this seemed to work well. Every piece of cardstock used (including die cut flowers & stems) was from the Eva paper collection. It is such pretty paper! It does the work for you! I did ink up silks & work them with my paper flowers. I used my favorite BasicGrey chipboard alphabet.I use it allot lol. But I just love it, so keep buying it, so keep using it!! Thanks for taking a look!

I just love inking & layering flowers. I have to stop myself from layering as they get rather bulky!

I sprayed some Glimmer Mist on my butterfly! The raw chip letters were inked & then sprayed with glimmer mist to soften the ink. I apply my glimmer mist with an art paint brush. I find I have better control! Of course, the pink makes good blush! I found out by mistake!
